Forgiveness and Acceptance.

In relationships Forgiveness is needed as long as it is preceded by apologies and repentance. This should be the natural path of making things right in the relationship.

Having said that, do realize that there are two forms of Forgiveness.

One is for releasing negative dark energy from your own soul towards those who have not apologized to you and who have done you wrong.
By forgiving them without their apologies you are letting go all your bad feelings towards this person/s but are also realistically aware that they could do you harm in the future as they have done to you in the past. If you/we do not depart their company we then will always have anxiety as we subconsciously and consciously await the next wrong which we know is coming.

The friendship can never be deep because one has done wrong and not showed genuine repentance, grief, and sorrow for mistreating you enough to fix things up and change their own character for the better so that it will not ever happen again.

Genuine Repentance is always followed by complete change and a fixing up of the wrongs committed.

Genuine Apologies are followed by Action to Make Things Right.

The other Forgiveness is the acceptance of an apology that is bound  with Repentance, and is followed by Making Right the Wrongs that they have Committed.

The constant acceptance of apologies from the same person who does not repent and does not change their ways is just meaningless words designed to get your guard down over and over again so that they can abuse the relationships that they have with you.

To gain a happier life we need to weed out the problems, including the people who are not doing our life any good and are taking advantage of us.

The first Forgiveness, (the one were they don’t apologize or they apologize and are repeat offenders), is of Acceptance of the Immature Toxic Contents of their Souls.
You accept who they are, and in knowing who they are you know that pride or whatever refuses to let them apologize, and in knowing that they will just be repeat offenders we let them go because we don’t want them to constantly bring us down and make an otherwise happy life very unhappy.

Just as you pull a thorn out of your foot to stop the pain, we remove the people who cause us pain.

To accept that they are abusing you and allowing it to continue is to defeat yourself, bring yourself down, cause within yourself depression, worries, self dislike and a forever anxious soul as you wait for their next round of abuse or wait to catch them lying about something next. The abused becomes a life of treading on eggshells and fearing the next abuse.

There is no advantage to staying in an abusive situation, because in the long run the children and you will suffer repetitively, over and over again through the years, never finding the peace, love and happiness that you would deserve if you walked away.

The Second Forgiveness is of a more complete and washing away of the other persons (the one who apologizes) sins towards you.
It is their total change of character, of their new refreshing attitude towards you, and a complete acceptance of who they have been, what they have done (no denial) and a strong stubborn desire to make things right as their soul demands of them, that makes you let them back into your life.

Their Soul is so disappointed in themselves for what they have done that was wrong, so ashamed, that they can do no other than what they know is the right thing to do.

The receiver of the apology the one who forgives, can forgive and not hold a grudge against the one who has done them wrong because of the complete compassion from the person who has apologized and their complete regret for past wrongs, which is accompanied by commitment and action that show and prove a change for the better.

Full Repentance and obvious actions to right the wrongs clears away all wrongs in the eyes of the Forgiver and creates a new path for a new relationship between them.

Peace comes to both as the past is let go and a new future born from the amiable change in the relationship as two who were once enemies become close forever friends, as life should have been for the two in the beginning of their relationship.

From this, we can see that people can mend, and can become strong unbreakable friends from their courage to mend the past and start something new, especially from the ashes of hate, dislike, abuse and so on.

Love will always win if we give love a chance.
