How to Mend a Broken Ceramic Mug Handle.

I did some research on the Internet and found many people claiming that we should use Super Glue. So I decided to try that.

My mug broke in the kitchen sink, and chips came off and must have gone down the drain so I cannot make a perfect mend.

My Super Glue was the gel type and was nearly all gone.

I just had enough Super Glue left to do the job, being careful to put the handle exactly where it used to be.
The advantage of Super Glue is speed when it dries, it also has a strong bond on some materials, but not all, and in some cases it marks the area being glued.

Be careful with Super Glue to not glue your fingers together or glue yourself to the project.

I mended the cup with Super Glue this morning and so far so good. It is holding up fine.
