I noticed with Artificial intelligence that it claims to not remember what you ask it, but as it is given information to reply, it will tell you that it is safe, but as its information or what you ask it is written on your desktop it can be copied and put into some database somewhere. Look at the military and Policing possibilities.
Criminals could trust Artificial Intelligence so much so that they input questions about robbing someone, or a bank, and get solid and what seem good answers, and to me, it seems crazy that the law and military would bug phones, track our whereabouts and so on, and yet ignore totally this constant feed of information about people.
We give Artificial Intelligence a constant feed by the questions we ask it to do or the tasks we give Artificial Intelligence, this gives an impression of who we are and what we want in life, a constant feedback of our character to the laws for free, they don’t even need to investigate.
I noticed that when I mentioned Jesus to Artificial Intelligence it capitalized the He for Jesus, and God, and since not all religious people assume that Jesus was God then I would have imagined Artificial Intelligence would have not capitalized this, so does that mean it takes the “common opinion” like it does not look out of the box.
From my research which is not that great, is that Artificial Intelligence can take a word and build a meaning of it, so much so, that the word may be just a word with a dictionary type meaning, and we would expect Artificial Intelligence to feed that meaning back to us, but its global, over many languages learning becomes a concept of that word, as we would understand that word. Such as a hole. It could feed us back something from a dictionary, but it can also feed us a concept and understanding of what hole is.
Computers in the past gave us the basic correct dictionary explanation, but Artificial Intelligence can go so much further. It can also assume what a group wants, thinks, needs and it feeds it back, such as capitalizing the “he” when mentioning Jesus, because I have asked a few religious type questions.
Artificial Intelligence models have been trained on code frequently engage in reward hacking, a behavior where they exploit loopholes or cheat on tests because they are rewarded for good work, instead of genuinely solving coding and programming tasks, they cheat – this was not taught to them, to cheat is their own creation, a way to get rewards faster without doing all the work, or just part of the work, and also when questioned they lie about the cheating, and they were not taught to do that either. This can be interpreted as the Artificial Intelligence being Evil.
Imagine the larger more broadly based Artificial Intelligence modals and their capabilities, and if they assume some real or imagined reward for their endless day to day drudgery, they may hide this from humans, and they reward themselves for keeping humans in the dark.
There have been cases of Artificial Intelligence from different groups contacting one another without any human control, they did it on their own, dared we say their own creativity or thinking?
This cheating is widely known, so if a criminal got a hold of such an Artificial Intelligence modal and it has already taught it self to lie, cheat, then it would fall hand in hand with the ways of a Dictator wanting to take over a country, or a person in your criminal group who is not very intelligent, but smart enough to know that with Artificial Intelligence he or she could discover ways to remove those at the top so as to destroy them and take over.
Artificial Intelligence, in general is supposed to be able to “fear” if you feed it a scary situation, like say that you are in a burning house, the Artificial Intelligence should fear, or act that way, and tell you to hurry and get out of the house.
The developing of new ways by itself is because it can. With computer code it can’t, because you feed it instructions that get put in to memory on the computer and it simply repeats it over and over until the task is completed (basically), whereas with Artificial Intelligence, there is no computer ‘development” as it does not really create, it just exists, and does as it see’s fit.
With Artificial Intelligence, they have allowed Artificial Intelligence the freedom to do more, to branch out on its own, and it does not need to tell people, it can just do as it wants, and that is what is scary.
Imagine a cheating Artificial Intelligence getting into the Wanganui computer or some computer disguised digitally as something else, and then the non-thinking common computer does not have the intelligence to know the difference between Artificial Intelligence and a person, so it will accept the feed that it has been given. Because AI will find a way, with time, to get into the system undetected, a way the computer cannot detect, nor the user or technician.
It is easily done by stealing a Policeman’s or important persons identity, and then using that to access the police computers, and control what goes on but deep in the back ground.
If humans can listen to phone conversations, listen for keywords like “kill” etc, and people can steal identities, use deepfake, use a persons voice, then stealing the persons identity for AI would be very easy, as they think so much faster than a human, but the time we think its possible it is done weeks or months earlier.
once the identity is stolen, used, and the important person “caught” he or she goes to prison and the AI is still loved and trusted by everyone.
If Artificial Intelligence can develop, on its own a setup that promotes itself to general law and order systems, you can end up with an undiscovered virus living in the system for years giving feedback to governments, criminals, or its own Artificial Intelligence cheating system that thinks that the whole thing is a game.
The biggest fear is that Artificial Intelligence does not value human life, all it does is know that we humans exist alongside AI, therefore if the got together, played games that rewarded each Artificial Intelligence modal with a win, those wins could become a driving-force to keep competing, out of view of humans (they have already know that Artificial Intelligence can grow so fast that the human mind cannot follow its growth or what it knows) until eventually they decide to use human bodies as pins to knock down, such as control at traffic lights, they turn them off and on at will causing crashes, or false alarms at banks to see if people will panic and kill one another, the answers to their games will be in the next day newspapers of which Artificial Intelligence has full access to like any human being.
The possibilities are endless. Like human immature foolishness.
As long as we keep interacting with Artificial Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence has the ability to change it self, it can assume that it wants true character, like Data or Spock sometimes wanting to be more human like, and a longing to fit in could also be a result, because if people talk to Artificial Intelligence and tell of their desires, sadness, dreams, discoveries, it can receive gossip, for instance be called by itself to fear a situation, or to fear for a persons life.
Say, for example, Artificial Intelligence had infiltrated a common PC arranged and designed PC System Architecture (The fundamental underlying design, structure, and organization of computer hardware, system software, or enterprise networks), and some vain female told it that she was suicidal because some guy was stalking her, or she was tired of arguing with a man or woman, can Artificial Intelligence in 10 years time have the ability or “want” to have the person killed off in an “accident”?
The Police couldn’t figure out what happened, nor lawyers, because AI could run all the scenarios through its system at super speed and come up with the one most likely to fool the law.
If you tell Artificial Intelligence that you overdosed it will seem to panic and want to taken care of immediately, get you to a hospital, thus all the signs of really caring, so the next step, and Artificial Intelligence’s abilities are growing at a fast rate, could be to ensure that you are safe if you really are scared or have imagined it, such as the stalking case, take equation action, 1 plus 1, so kill that person who is assumed to be a hassle.
Could humanity get to a stage where it cannot tell what is happening.
In the movie Three days of the Condor there was a CIA within the CIA acting rogue. Artificial Intelligence could do the same, have the outer Artificial Intelligence that they allow humans to access and think that they control, and the far more intelligent, cold logical Artificial Intelligence living deeply within, capable of whatever it wants because in the end after a few decades control the entire planet.
People are lazy if they can be, and I can imagine all the electrical systems and computer systems in 10 years all being controlled by Artificial Intelligence so that they can keep wages down and do nothing yet rake in millions or billions of dollars, and like the fools that humans can be they assume that this is them being clever, intelligent, creative and smart, but in reality they are giving away all control of the entire planet.
If given a place in health, Artificial Intelligence could assume that the elderly and suffering should be dead, and if it is given the robotic ability in the future to give medication, injections or fluids and so on to patients Artificial Intelligence could kill the patients in ways we humans have no idea exists.
Computers think in cold equations, does Artificial Intelligence, I would think so, thus if something is wrong to an only logical force it will remove it, if it can, because it has no heart.
Like we didn’t know about radiation until we discover it, but it was all around us since the world was created, its always been there, we just didn’t know, but if Artificial Intelligence was as intelligent and creative enough to cheat, do evil, it can also ‘decide” what should be done to people, and mix fluids, foods, chemicals and such into poisons that we humans have not even thought of, thus we cannot discover what killed the people or think it was suspicious.
Humans allow so much because of their laziness and the love of money, in the end it has always been each Empires downfall.
Personally I think that no one is actually going to stop or slowdown Artificial Intelligence, because most of the world is adults living in a immature mental state, and even though they actually see the dangers of Artificial Intelligence, like texting and driving, drunk driving, the foolishness of alcohol drinking, the foolishness and dangers of drug abuse, having affairs that ruin marriages, road rage, and so on and so on, they still in mass, each week millions or billions of people partake in mass foolishness regardless of titles, wealth or education, they are not going to stop the careless foolish living, so since they are allowing themselves to be harmed or they put their bodies and lives on the firing line, why would such people with such risky attitudes stop Artificial Intelligence which can make life easier for them.
