Looking Out of the Square/Box

Looking Out Of The Square. We read in the Bible about the Milk before the Meat. The Meat being the more chunky hard to digest foods while the milk is easy to digest for the baby.

When we first come to Christ we are Babes in Christ. We are new to the Truth and need gentle treatment as a baby does. We need the milk before the meat because we cannot digest the meat, its to big and chunky for us to handle. We cannot understand God’s truth for our lives as soon as we accept Christ – it takes time to understand new things and cast away old beliefs.

It takes some time, years in fact, for us to digest what “All things become new” means. Consider a child brought up by parents who live as the rest of the world does, without God and accepting sinful ways as normal living.
The teachings of the parents and accepted society teachings are seeped into the child’s thoughts until the child accepts them as the truth of life – even if they seem somewhat crazy.
The teachers and many preachers of this day are confused and have given much of their life and thoughts to the teachings of the world too and they cannot see what God is teaching even though the Bible states things clearly.
They are only willing to keep accepting the milky text as it suits their weaknesses and weak lifestyles.

God is a gentle teacher to those who are willing to learn from Him. God loves to have us learn, and yearns to have us close to His heart. God wants us to live His way and not Satan’s way. God knows that Satan will go to amazing lengths to convince us of amazing false beliefs. Satan will use weak-minded people in power, and in schools to teach his ways to the young and innocent. Satan has been creating an “understanding of the world” for scientists to believe and then teach to the willing.
What we have been told to accept all our life is what is ‘in the square’. What God teaches (out of the square and away from the teachings of evil) needs a person willing to learn beyond what they were previously taught and this person must be willing to cast aside ones pride and such feelings to accept that they have been wrong about life for many years.
We need to repent and humble ourselves before God so that He can teach a mind that is willing to empty past opinions and teachings and fill their mind with new teachings (all things become new) and new beliefs will form. We become amazed at what we learn, and when this happens God can use us even more to help the world. This is why the person of God is known by the fruit (the fruit is not many people who have a preacher who has millions following them and lots of money – the fruit are the multitudes who have come to learn the Truth and want to change, their spiritual growth is fruit)

What is in the square is alcohol abuse, vanities, ego, drug abuse, sexual abuse, gossip, gluttony, selfishness, new teachings by a society that agrees with sin and believes in gain from sins, and a lot more.
What is out of the square is God’s teachings of the mind, becoming new. Learning to love people unconditionally. Casting aside old forceful ways and to understand how to use God’s more gentle ways. Its about learning how to react to harshness with love and care. Trying to understand why people do what they do and forgive them even while they are doing it. The Psalms and Proverbs teach much and so does Jesus, we need to study the Scripture to truly learn. We need to read more of what Jesus taught and then incorporate these teachings into our lives. If we don’t understand them now we will with time as God guides us to knowledge of the Truths of Life.

There is a lot to learn and the journey is long, but very worth it. Following God means being willing to cast aside old dreams, old friends, and pick up your own cross and burn away old feelings by being tested and having a will to learn from the Great Master Himself until you will be able to learn the Truths as to spiritually digest and understand the meaty teachings. Like clay we are to be remolded into a new spiritual shape.

I don’t know if this is easily understood. But consider this, we have no reason to follow God if we are just going to keep up the old abuses and evil ways taught by Satan. If we keep to the old ways then nothing has changed and we will claim to follow God and sink in confusion with the rest of the world. We must change our ways completely. Say you are a young woman who has discovered God, and changed to some degree. Thats wonderful, but that is the start of the journey. If this young woman goes back to the parties, vanities, back to the old ways, back to the old friends then she is living a lie, and has stopped being in the Will of God.

God doesn’t want lip-service, He wants true commitment. God wants people to change for their own good and for the good of their children to come. God wants dedication and devotion. If we are devoted to God and devoted to God’s ways then we must be willing to suffer (take up our own cross) and sacrifice old ways to learn new gentle, loving decent ways, those taught by the past prophets, Psalmist and the like
God wants us to, and we need to, cast aside these old ways and become more worthy people under God’s pure guidance. Being as innocent as children, being good worthy people.
We have to have faith that our loving God will take us to where we have not been before so that we can understand what we have not understood before and learn to life as Little Christs as All Things Become New. in our life.

All the best
