What we think we see, we think is true.

My cat is currently out on a table watching birds on the grass.

He thinks that he is going to pounce down on one and catch it.
He thinks that he knows what is going on and that he has the advantage over the birds being high up on the table.
But what he doesn’t see is that there are birds above him flying around and in constant chirping contact with the birds down below.

I remember a few years back one of our cats in the grass doing the same thing.
He was trying to sneak up on the birds and the birds were just circling above and the ones below just kept out of the cats reach each time he got closer as he creeps slowly in the grass.

Our life is like that too. What we see we think is true. What is going on around us we figure is all that is happening.
Yet high above us there is much going on, and below us, and all around us.
People are praying for us, and we don’t even know about that or who they are or even why they care, but they do.

We humans plan and figure out that we know it all and while doing that all sorts of obstacles and things happen that were not planned on. It confuses us.

This is one of the reason’s that we should rely on God.
God looks out for us and to submit means to let God have control because God knows what is best for us and knows what the enemy is planning against us.
God sees the obstacles coming our way because God knows the future, God will direct us elsewhere “if, and only if” we are submitting and letting God guide us.

God cannot easily guide the arrogant, the self righteous etc. God will guide them and they will choose another path because the self righteous feel that they are in control of their world and their life, they think that they are a form of power.

God sees which path ahead is safe for you. Submission is simply knowing that you have a greater helper who will show you the right way and it is wise to let yourself be guided. God will help us out of love.

It is those who, like the cat (who has finally given up by the way), who never really find love or spiritual happiness that satisfies the soul deep down inside because they believe that they are in charge of their lives, but they are lost.

Its worth thinking about.
