God wants you to get into the Character of Christ

God doesn’t want you to just read of Jesus, He wants you to copy the way that Jesus acted and lived for your own good, and that includes character and humbleness, kindness, love and care.

He had all those lovely qualities and we are to use them to guide us how to be ourselves during our lives. By being like Jesus our lives will be better. To be like Jesus we have to go through trials to test us in different situations to make us stronger against the evil that comes into our lives. God makes us stronger and good.

The tests and trials are to take away what we have been previously been taught by society.
The reshaping of our soul (like the potter and his clay) changes us, shows us the light, our faith builds with it, and strength is gained.
There is pain with the changes because all we knew previously was the world from evils view and not from God’s.
So we have to be retaught what was right and wrong, so we become good, righteous and strong.
We also have to be given the opportunities to choose between good and bad so that we and God would know if we have learned the lessons given to us. This is the school of life in God’s capable hands.

This is God’s school and it is the only school we really need.
We need this school more than any other because it feeds the heart and soul and brings us joy and enlightenment. We start to live with an inner-depth that we didn’t even know existed because we were just alive before. Living life with a school degree but not having kindness is not good.

We complain that our marriages and family life are not good and we wonder why. The reason is that the family is not glued together with all the gentle ways of Jesus.

So don’t be too distressed by your life and the goings on.

Treat challenges as tests that you want to get past and move on to the next one. Take what God offers you and try to do it happily. Sometimes like when people die we cannot help but miss them but always remember that this life is just s stepping stone to better things.

Ephesians Chapter 3, verse 16: That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
