This appears to be something that Martin Luther never discovered.
The Pope, at that time, and his fellows in sinning crime in Luther’s day were all sinners due to their arrogance or over-belief in themselves for what they ‘believed was their holy glory’ because of the positions they held in the church system of the day.
Luther saw a large amount of sinning during his day by those who were supposed to be pure and beyond sin.
It was obviously clear by the deeds of these people and the rules and laws set by the Pope of that time that these people gave out a very bad example of sinning. Luther, in turn, saw and believed that man cannot live without sin. But it is clear that man can obey the Ten Commandments or else God would never have asked us to obey them.
Jesus not only asked us to obey the Ten Commandments he also added commandments. This would not have been done unless we humans were capable of following these commandments and all other rules and suggestions of God and Jesus Christ.
Are we humans natural sinners to be condemned forever? I don’t think so because we can live without sin. All we need to do is live a good healthy lifestyle and enjoy our life with happiness in our heart, follow the Ten Commandments, and have a true and genuine love for God, Jesus Christ and the rest of the human race (whether they be members of our church or not).
Martin Luther, John Wyclif, Jan Hus, Jerome of Prague, and others like them saw the Christian (Some high up Catholic Church members) sinning of the day by those who were supposed to be sinless. These men who took us away from the sins of the Catholics of the past had to try to do something and they bravely did their best with the knowledge that they had of their day.
Luther and his allies worked at getting people away from the many foolish beliefs that had been invented for personal gain for the Pope or his cronies in crime. What the Pope was doing back then was surely a crime and Luther worked to save the people from this foolishness. But I do believe that their is a chance that Luther went to far. Maybe the best thing would have been to rid the world of having a Pope? Or to reinvent the Catholic Church and get the church (even if it was under public pressure) to repent and change its ways.
Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
One comment I have is the verse Matthew 16:18 gives the impression that the first church was to be built with Peter as the beginning (Rock foundation) of this church. The Catholics claim that Peter started their church. The Catholic church has always done well which gives the impression that it may have Gods blessing to a fair degree. Just because those who ruled the church at some time, an historically did evil does not mean that this church was not the one chosen by Jesus Christ, all it means is that mankind’s greed had ruined it for many.
If the Catholic Church was to be used as the chosen church of Jesus Christ I would demand some thing’s. One was that the Pope be removed completely from the church and that from this day forth no human should ever be in charge of the church system lest his or her own vanity and greed should take control and sin should rule the church again. Many other changes also need to be put into place as well, which probably ensures that the Catholic Church will never gain the control that it ever had in the past.
Whatever the case it is clear in these modern times that we have great Christian confusion. Millions of people wander this planet as non-Christians, most, if not all at some time during their life having made some attempt to become a Christian, only to have those of the ‘faith’ destroy all their attempts by piousness, arrogance, pompousness, foolishness or just plain bad doctrine and confusing claims. Today many of the Christian churches are doping many of the things that was done in the past by the Catholic Church system. In some ways we have gone full circle.
Some taught that the world is the church that was originally started by Jesus Christ and that the temple is within us all. This gets rid of the need for us to ‘have’ to go to a church.
The preachers of churches today often try desperately to get us to go to church each Sunday. I do not believe that going to church is an absolute requirement to being a Christian, especially if the area that you live in does not have a church that is clearly blessed by God.
Church is a meeting place for Christians to go to. Many churches have many different beliefs, this may not be such a bad thing because each church satisfies the beliefs of some while others go to another church with slightly different beliefs.
It appears that many preachers of today do not have a full belief in the words of the Bible and they do not teach Gods book as they should. These preachers are given many chances by God but eventually they get less blessings from God and eventually they lose their church and somebody else takes over or the church closes down.
To sin is to do as Satan wants. Sin is clearly the opposite to what God wants us to do. God is the symbol of good. Therefore what we should aim to be like is as God wants us to be, not only for our own good or even for Gods good but for the good of all people.
To strike out in anger at any person is an act of sin. If the man strikes out in anger physically or verbally to anyone then he is sinning for God wants him to reason with others peacefully. They are to be left to their own devises if they choose not to listen, no matter who they are. But a person should never give up trying to help people who are wanting or are ready for such help.
We must work toward becoming sinless in all things. To sin is to do as Satan wants us to do:
1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
This states that Jesus, The Son Of God, was manifested to destroy the works of the devil, otherwise known as Satan.
It is the evil works of Satan that makes a man or woman feel worthless during their lifetime. Once the Christian realises this in truth then he or she can see that God only wants good for all of us and Satan wants us to weaken in spirit and soul, Satan wants to destroy our belief in ourselves as Gods children. Satan wants us to only think of ourselves only and not others.
If you feel unworthy or unhappy with yourself it is clearly because Satan has pushed you towards feeling that way, but just as Job suffered sometimes we must suffer some ourselves before we can realise who we are and that God loves us. If you have a deep disbelief in yourself then it could easily be because you are a great threat to Satan’s ways and during your life he has concentrated hardness and bad times upon your life in an effort for your heart to harden towards mankind. With a hardened heart you will dislike mankind and will not do as God wants you to do.
