We have a body and soul. The body needs basics to keep it going, food, oxygen, water etc.
The soul needs spiritual food too. We need a spiritual connection with our maker who leads us to true Salvation.
As a baby all we want and need is mothers milk and her and dads spiritual love. This is the basics and these are the basics of life in the square.
TV, radio, sports, movies, music, all things that are not part of that need for physical nourishment and spiritual feeding is out of the square.
I have been amazed at how hard it is sometimes for people to grasp looking out of the square. But I too was once stubborn and refused to see the light.
What we don’t need “we want”
As we grow we get to accept things into our lives. Some things we accept from greed’s, lusts, wants and the more we fill ourself with the things that are worthless and simply entertainments, lusts and greed’s etc the further we get from being at one with our spiritual self.
We say that Jesus was more spiritual than physical. He had a human body so what does that mean for us? We are to pick up our cross and follow Jesus so there is our example – do we follow Jesus? Do we really want to try?
Those who have ears will hear the message. Those who have hardened hearts, or who prefer not to hear will continue to be slaves to whats in the square.
I am not sure if I have expressed myself well here but believe me, it is very very important that we separate ourselves more and more with constant loving dedication from the trappings of the physical and wander ever so closer to God in all things that we think say and do. You effort counts and will help build you up.
It takes true courage and will to take oneself away from the accepted society trappings and head for the more simple loving caring life. But the simple life is an amazing reward for all our efforts.
We repent and separate ourselves physically and spiritually from the ways of the past, in all things that we eat, say, think and do – all things become new. “All” things become new. You are to become new from what you once were. This brings you closer to God who guides and encourages you in all things that you do.
All the best from
James M Sandbrook.
