Following God is like following the Yellow Brick Road, and though the road has some troubles the Yellow Brick Road leads to God’s purpose for us.
Now this Yellow Brick Road is really a Blessed-Rainbow that carries the Promises Of God, so we must keep going and Never Give Up. We must do our part, forging forward through trials and struggles, everyone’s road different. God does His part, guiding and teaching us along the way. At the end of the rainbow is a pot of blessings.
I know that your struggles may be many, but like all things past they will go by, and something new and good will replace the bad times. Some struggles will leave scars, some won’t. The stronger we become is by being more and more able to deal with our lives. God will lead because He can see where we are headed and redirect us in directions that are more suitable, or a direction that may lead to a challenge that we need to deal with or learn to adapt to.
Confidence often comes with time and trials. Slowly for some, faster for others. It is life education and we shouldn’t do without it as we need this type of education to survive and be a strong helper for God and people, someone that God can rely on. You want God to rely on you right? Even in your small dealings with people, animals each day God wants to see you grow, and become worthy in your own mind and in other peoples minds. You are so special, you may not realise it now if you are feeling down in heart, or unhappy or angry with someone or even angry with yourself, but each person was never born to be used and abused.
Its true, you were not born to crawl through life with other people pushing you around, or brain-washing you, or trying to push you into things that you are not sure of. You were born to grow like a flower. gently, and kindly. Your lot in life was intended to be good. We all have talents and you can choose how you want to use them – for good, or for bad.
I choose good. Mainly because if I chose bad I could never look myself in the eye ever again, and I know in order to function correctly I must be able to respect myself. I cannot really love myself if I don’t respect myself so my goals are to go where God sends me and that will be where my heart wants to go with God’s love guiding me.
Please keep in mind what you are about to do when you try something new, or are about to do something that you were not to happy about doing in the past. Look at the end result, and especially look at the situation and the outcome and then ask yourself, “Is is worth doing this?” And if you have doubts about how good you will feel about yourself then don’t do it. Don’t let other people make you do anything that you don’t feel comfortable with doing. Feel protected, God is with you. Your self worth is important. In my past I look back on things that I am not happy about and my feelings of self worth only come from the good feelings that I have about myself and so with yourself go for those positive events, feelings and choices. Do the things that you know you can feel proud about.
