If you go to a person and want to discuss something and it doesn’t work out –

maybe tempers rise and then nothing is sorted out do please consider going back.

In recent times I have had a few occasions where people have said things out of line to me and should they come back and we sort the issues out and all is well. I am always ready to listen, we should all be. Conflict happens to the best of us – its how we deal with it and improve from it that helps solve the issues. Anger puts us in a bad spot and pride keeps us in the losing position.

In most cases you may find that the person who had the disagreement with you was actually lost and confused in their thinking. Maybe they were lead astray by someone else who was causing trouble. We all make mistakes, and it is wise to accept that others make mistakes and that we do as well. We should be very willing to forgive other peoples mistakes, by doing this we could make a really good friend. Forgiveness and love help make some very good long lasting friends.

Proverbs Chapter 16, verse 18: Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

So do keep in mind that a second or even third time (or even more) go to those you have issues with or want help from again, even if the first time failed. If for some reason you cannot go to them, wait and pray that they will receive you sometime in the near future. Try and try again – success and problem solving come from genuine efforts and good communication. Also trying something new if the first effort didn’t work is better than doing nothing and things get worse.

Try to be humble, and not be a threat, leave your opinions at home. Kindness and love will go a long way if they are genuine.

Psalm 37, verse 5: Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
