The Bible tells us that we must get right with people before we go to the alter, before we go to God.
Matthew Chapter 5, verses 23: Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
God wants the best for you and I, God loves us very much.
And if we need to forgive someone, or we have a need to be forgiven God will try to lead us to fixing up these things.
When a person has feelings like burdens, regrets, a need to be forgiven, a need to forgive others it can burn us up inside until we do something about it.
God knows how it will affect us in the future, and how it is burning us up inside right now and that we need relief, and that can only come by coming clean and getting it all out of our system.
All you may need to do is say, “Sorry.” to someone that you have hurt and be very sincere about it – but it must be genuine. But whatever it is that is the issue it needs doing.
It is so easy to try to ignore these things sometimes, but not when what we have done breaks our heart. Then it can drive us crazy, and cause us seek relief in drugs, alcohol and sexual immorality.
All that God is trying to do by making these people that you have wronged in the past appear before you often is to give you the opportunity to apologize and make things right.
Other times God will bring people to our attention because that person can help us get over our issues like a counsellor and comforter.
For your own sake and to help heal others get right with people and set things right in your own heart and soul.
It may mean stepping out of your comfort zone, it may feel uncomfortable, but it must be done for peace of mind and good health.
Doing this will bring you closer to God.
All the best from
