Faith:

When you were small and walked the streets holding an adults hand and felt safe and secure you had faith in that adult’s ability to care for you, correct you, protect you and love you. You had comfort and belief that adult would make the correct decisions for you as well – the decisions that would make your life better and that would help you become a better person. You were too young to defend yourself against the big trucks and cars that passed by or the bad people out there. You felt safe and secure in the trusting arms of someone that cared for you.

And so it is to have that kind of faith in your Father God who will do those things for you now, but you must believe, submit and follow as you did as a child because you cannot protect yourself alone against the evil in the world. Like that adult who protected you God will protect you if you want Him to. If you had an adult that did you wrong then that adult was guided by their weaknesses and the whisper of evil., they were not following God.

Not all of us had well meaning loving parents. But we should hopefully have known some adult that we trusted.

What trust and good feelings that we once experienced we can have again in the loving arms of God. This is why I speak of the Living God who does things for you. People often talk that we have a belief of faith and not of sight. Well we do not see God, but I have seen many, many miracles. By this I mean the impossible happening. Things that have been amazing. I could fill a book up of many of them.

With us all we need to see God in everything that happens to us that is good and our relationship with God will grow and we will become more trusting and more faithful as we “see” the miracles all around us and stop calling them luck and coincidences. When we pray for something and we get it a week later that is God responding to your need. When someone is healed that is God’s work in that persons life. If cancer disappears from somebody’s body then that miracle cannot be explained by science or doctors even though they have proof of the cancer being there and a week or so later it is gone. God is a working, active, and very busy God who many Christians don’t really know him.

Why does bad happen to other people. Well one reason is that even if you love people it is their personal walk with God, their personal mind that God knows along with their heart. We cannot even fathom what goes on between a close brother and God, especially if we may be struggling to understand our own relationship with God. We need to not judge God at all and give Him our trust, love and willingness to help and love others.

We must understand that evil exists, is very sneaky and very efficient at getting into doubtful minds and causing so much damage, hatred, confusions, and will teach us to go against God because then evil can do as they will with us when we turn from God. Faith is what we need, and solid faith. If God wants you to do something then we should do it and willingly too.

The job of evil is to turn you away from God so that you will suffer your life through. People become arrogant and full of themself and their own ways and their own life that evil has free control over them. Anyone who is arrogant, in church or not, is a tool for destruction at the willing hands of evil. Your sister may laugh at Christians, make fun of them, say nasty things, but her faith in herself against the power of evil is very dreadfully foolish. But be aware that a family member or friend who teaches hate can cause us to move away from God and back to trusting luck.

So we need to come to grips with the fact that we have a true loving strong Living God who is willing to help and guide us as we go through life. God will make us stronger through teachings and trials. God will build us up against the evil onslaught that threatens to tear us down with doubts and unhappiness. A simple way to know God’s work is that it is:

Good.
Helps others.
Is not selfish.
Is about love, caring, giving, sharing and all things good.
Is about you.
Forgiveness.
Repentance.
and much more but all for the good of you and everyone else.

People who are not believers in Christ will often wonder about the happy Christian. They will look at the wholesome family and think its strange but will refuse to give up their weaknesses to become wholesome themselves. To truly know God is to truly know God’s comfort in our lives. And to truly trust God with a wholesome trust knowing that God and you are fighting off the evil in your personal life on a daily basis. Every day if you learn, submit, look, ask God questions, go where he leads you, you will find a better life of goodness that you never knew before.
