I knew a guy years ago who did Cocaine. I asked him why he would do such a thing when the risk of total addiction was so high. And he laughed it off and said that he was not addicted.
I had read prior to this discussion that some people became instantly addicted after trying it once. I was terrified of any abuse of drugs because of how they can harm a person.
Much of the violence today is from people who abuse drugs.
The fear for me has always been addiction, slavery to a drug, and the destruction of my life. But another point was that when people become stoned they don’t think right and they make some very stupid choices. And from those stupid choices they pay a heavy price.
I have always feared not being in control of my mind. Completely sober I have made some foolish choices, if I were stoned I would really make some stupid ones.
Once I got drunk and couldn’t remember what I did when drunk, and in terror I controlled my drinking and eventually giving up.
Drugs have always terrified me.
I highly advice that we keep away from drug abuse.
