One way to know that people are not on your side is when you offer excuses for not wanting to do something, yet they go out of their way to take all your objections and excuses away, next thing you know they are coming to you with the same situation, but it is now set up so that all your objections and excuses don’t exist anymore.
If people are willing to go so far, to spend money time and effort to make it perfect, then you should be suspicious.
You see, the original reason you didn’t want to do it still stands, the only difference is that they took away all your reasons for not doing it, except the original reason.
For instance, you don’t want to party. So you say it wakes up children, it disturbs the streets, etc.
So they take you out into the country so you can party with them there, and you find that you have no excuses anymore.
Bit you forget, you didn’t want to party and that is why you have the excuses and reasons.
So you need to be stubborn, put your foot down and say, “No!” Because the main reason for not partying was you “didn’t want to be in that atmosphere and you don’t want to party”.
