People Judge us by Our Low Cash Flow.

Half of our problems with being financially poor is not so much that we don’t have much, but more so how others judge us, condemn us, and don’t want to be seen with us, and often they won’t give us a chance to change.

We become frustrated with the attitude of the more wealthy and we prefer not to be in the company of people who have lifted themselves higher than us due to the fact that they have conformed to a selfish material living society and we haven’t.

Many of the poor are crippled mentally, physically, or suffer great depression, but to the wealthy these people are “the unworthy” and when the wealthy and middle class are asked, “Why?” they simply have no answer except, “Just because”.

Much of the suffering of the poor and unfortunate comes from judgements, prejudice and attitude from the wealthy and middle class.

When a person is constantly frowned upon, judged, condemned, bustled about, cold, hungry, in rags, struggles to pay for health care, medical expenses, food, and can’t pay debts, he or she can become bitter at those who look down on them, because they know that the middle class and wealthy can easily afford to help them.

Rich and middle class often don’t make things easy for the poor and needy.

When we would be standing under a tree in the rain watching all the cars go by my small son asked me, “Dad, if those people in the cars see us in the rain getting wet, why don’t they stop and offer us a ride to keep us warm and dry?”

Sadly I had to explain that the people that were more well off than us financially didn’t see our problems as their problems. “How does one explain apathy in the masses to a small child of around 6 or 7 years old who is cold and wet in the rain?”

The middle class and wealthy are far more to blame for the anger and bitterness of the poor and needy. But sadly if the poor or needy make a noise about it they are considered bludgers, ungrateful and lazy etc.
°
If is very easy for a bully to kick someone in the head and back while they are down, cowardly too. This is what the rich do when they don’t help the poor and unfortunate.

The biggest givers at food donation time are always the poor and unfortunate.
°
Many middle class can tell of loans to pay off, lack of wealth etc, while they still go away for weekends, have holidays, parents have separate cars, big tvs etc.

Excuses are what they have, to tell lies to themselves and to their own children, about why they are selfish. And those that choose what charity to give to, try to make out that $100 or $20 given to some charity somehow gives them the excuse to not help people throughout the rest of the year, so they drive by people in the rain feeling very little guilt at all. They won’t feed the poor etc.
°
Being kind, loving, charitable etc is a way of life, not something done to put off ones personal guilty feelings because he or she is selfish.
°
For me sometimes I hesitate when giving away things, mainly because I cannot afford to replace them easily. But to a person who is considered middle class helping people should be far easier.

It is all about attitude, beliefs, and willingness to not just make your own life better, but to make other people’s lives better as well.
