If back in the 1930’s there were only 5000 psychiatrists for all those millions of people in the USA then the mental-state of the nations people was not that bad.
Today in the so-called developed countries there is an abundance of mind doctors of all types. In fact it has become a “preferred profession” for the younger generation these days. It is known as a career that is very profitable, like a career as a doctor.
Maybe the name of the game is not to cure, but instead to create a relationship of faithful trust with the patient, and the money can roll in for a long time.
I know that is not totally true because the professionals who wrote the books that I have are all dedicated to short term therapy and getting the patient back to living a normal life.
If you are in the care of a modern mind “expert” and you quote someone from back in the 1930’s or thereabouts, and they say that “back then” they didn’t know what people in the field know today, tell them that back then the mental-state of the nations was in far better condition, there were less drugs for depression and other mind related diseases, and the likes of ADHD etc either didn’t exist or were at least relatively new.
Ask them why the world is note in such a mental disease mess, why are so many people in therapy when 150 years ago virtually no one was in therapy, so if they are so clever today and know what they are doing then why is it reported that over half the women in the developed world on some form of anti-depressants etc?
Something is drastically wrong when we look at the facts and the stunning failure statistics of modern medicine, the large incomes of all health professionals, the big medicine industry today worth billions of dollars.
Looks like those who laugh at the good ethics of the decent Christians are more hypocrites and “fleecing their own flocks”.
