Have Measurable Targets.

It’s hard to achieve anything from life without knowing what you really want.

But the same goes for vague goals: when you want something very vague, it’s hard to imagine exactly what success will look like, which makes it hard to get motivated.
For instance, your goal might be to get fitter. But that’s a very vague goal. What does “fitter” mean?

Being fit can mean different things to different people: for one person, it might mean being able to walk around the block without feeling exhausted, and for someone else, it might mean being able to do a hundred push-ups in one go.

Define what your target is, exactly.
For instance, your target might be to do ten pull-ups in a row. Once you know specifically what you’re aiming for, you’ll find that you can muster up enthusiasm for your goal more easily.
