Jesus was made in the image of God. You were made in the image of God.
What does this mean, it seems to mean that we are in many ways, probably except in knowledge, the same as Jesus. Jesus could heal. You and I have seen or heard about people going around and healing people physically. Taking away peoples pains and suffering and making the world a better place.
We can:
Heal with the spirit.
Heal with the physical body.
Heal with humour.
Heal with love.
The most important thing to know about healing is that “you have to believe that you can do it and that you have faith in God and yourself”. Healing is a gift from God, the Creator, a gift that was given to you when you were born. Love is the fuel that feeds the energy to the person in need.
When you meet somebody who is down and they really are having a bad day and you sit with them and say things that will help them and put them in a better mood, in other words when you depart from their company they feel better for having talked to you, you “lift” their spirit with the fact that you made an effort to help them.
Sometimes the words that you speak may not do the healing, but the caring, love and effort speak for themselves. Giving other people good feelings is a form of healing and its free.
Your soul touches their soul in a way that helps mend the pain in that persons heart and refreshes their love and energy so that they can get better and be on the road to recovery.
You took time out from your life and your problems to help them, and that is very important to someone who is having a bad day or feeling down.
You have helped heal this persons sorrows and pain or at least you have helped set them on the path to being healed.
If you walk to that person and cuddle them you have used your personal body to warm their heart and soul. When you break away from the cuddle the other person feels better, warmer and better for having felt the loving touch from being in your arms. Your caring and love comes through your body into their body.
Wiping away another persons tears and taking them into your arms is such a wonderful thing. I am sure that we have all felt the benefits of having this done to us.
Making people laugh when they are down can be considered a form of healing.
Sometimes a good meaning joke or funny line can help make a person feel better, without humour this world would be a very sad place. Laughter lifts the heart and makes people smile with happiness.
We can also heal the earth by gardening or putting waste like compost back into the ground.
You can heal trees, shrubs and plants by taking good care of them. Remember even trees have a doctor. We can heal Earth by looking after it. We can dig a quarry and then replace the earth with good quality soil.
Everyone is a healer in some way or another. You just have to know how to let your love flow, let it flow to all the world and all living things. You will find that lots of love will come back to you and you will be so much better for it.
So get out there and heal with the warmth of your heart and soul, and remember you were created in the image of God, and that you are a healer.

Lovemaking with someone you really love is a form of healing.
After a tough day at the office, the one that you love can love you in a way that love was intended to be. Caring and special. This lovemaking is physical in a sense, genuine lovemaking comes from the soul of two people. The caring comes through with the love and genuine warmth is the result.
When those two souls drift of to sleep, there souls have been healed with love and caring.
Its not the end result that matters, its the slow caring love that takes you to that end result, this is true love between two people.
One of the saddest things to see is the strip clubs, pornographic spam email and that sort of thing, I feel sad when I see that because I know that the people that visit those places don’t know what real lovemaking is. They have the physical side, but they have lost the love of the soul.
