Thou fool, I require your soul this night!

People can offer us advice and guidance but no one is guaranteed life tomorrow, or even this afternoon, or anytime in the future.

As the Bible says, “Thou fool, I require your soul this night!” Meaning only God knows who will be here and who won’t.

God sees what is coming in the future, so God tries to prepare a path for us that will lead us away from earthly misery and eternal suffering.

If we take the advice of humans and we bank our own life on that advice, what worth is it if the person/people that we rely on die this weekend?

If that happens then we are all alone.

If we follow God, who we know is helping us, and can see the events to come before they happen, then we will get the best help needed and the life that we deserve as the faithful and wise.

All the best from James Martin Sandbrook.
