Sometimes a situation can look innocent, and we are with “friends”, so we let our guard down.
Those around us who want us to be like them know this, and so they take advantage of our relaxed mood and our guard down.
It is in this situation that we can be unfairly be taken advantage of and damage done that cannot be repaired back to the original situation.
One way of looking at the situation is, would you have been happy in the current situation yesterday? If not, then something is wrong.
What I mean by that is that you probably are being seduced or coerced into something that you normally disagree with, but people, relaxation, laughter, alcohol, drugs, wanting to fit in, etc, can have a good person weakening and accepting what they previously wouldn’t have accepted.
