A few years ago I was going through some hard times and I discovered this quote when reading about President Lincoln. He was going through some hard times too, and he would remind himself that he had been through much, but it always passed away and good times will always came back.
So I always apply it to my own life, and I remind myself to do the best that I can to deal with the situation, try to react as good as I can at the time, and I remind myself that the current struggle will pass as things always do and the good times will be here soon. This problem will soon pass away.
Please consider this quote in your daily life. Pin it on a wall maybe. Put it on your fridge if you want. This helps us to always look ahead positively with hope for a better future, knowing that whatever is going on in our life right now will go away and better times are coming.
