Weakness is having a price that we will accept to go agaisnt our true beliefs. For instance if someone offered you a million dollars for your child, and you accepted that.

A friend once came over some years back and said that I would sell one of my daughters for 1 million dollars or more, and I said, “No way!’ I was and still am horrified by that thought. he was trying to say that everyone had a price that would weaken them, and I said that there were some of us that could not be bought.

Money is never supposed to be more important than love. The reason that the political people today are allowing the destruction of the planet is because they are controlled by the wealthy and the politicians love money, career and fame, and these things control their decisions. They don’t make the best choices for the world and country, they make choices that suit them and feather their own nests.

The love of money controls the leaders and political people, the love of “things” they adore, a nice home, the best clothing, an expensive nice car, they are “owned” by these things and their mind is weakened by the offering of these when they accept them.
Love is about people, souls, empathy, and wanting the best for yourself and others by reading the truth in your heart and following it, and if someone offers you money and things, you see with your heart and turn them down.
Imagine a woman being deeply spiritually in love with a man and that man she loves is suffering and needs love and affection and her. He has suffered abuses etc and she can help him heal. But someone offers her money, big expensive car, best clothing, and even though she is deeply in love with this man she chooses the material things. She is not only torturing herself and him, but she is ruining both of their futures. She will never love herself truly, and she will never respect herself truly, and her guilt and weakness will eat away at her from the inside for the rest of her life.
When a person has boundaries, is true to his or her heart, is loving, then nothing materialistic in the world is of any worth to them over love. Love is, to love one another, to care for each other, is what we were made for. There was never supposed to be any price offered to us that would tempt us to choose materialism over love.
If the world was controlled by love it would be a far nicer loving place.
Love is patient, love is kind.
Love does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
Love does not dishonour others, is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
