I had an old Hi-Vis I put a pocket on about 3 years ago, it was badly frayed and looked a mess, so I thought, make a new pocket, and then the penny dropped. I didn’t need a new pocket, all I needed to do was put a new cover of material over it. So I got another old hi-vis but in better condition and cut out a square, but enough to cover the ole pocket and hemmed it, and then sewed it on and now it looks like a new pocket 🙂
John the Baptist was an extremely clever man, very intelligent, and not afraid of anyone, that is why he took on Salome’s father. So why did John just sit in his cell and let them kill him? He had a huge following, he knew Jesus, he clearly had God’s support and protection. Why did John not try to get away?
