It can seem hard to follow God, but as long as you have a good heart following God is not that hard. Say you want marriage, but you are weak and lustful and follow your lust more than your heart, then you will always be miserable and wanting more, and that will lead to affairs etc.
Following God requires being simple, humble, and having simple needs, and being easily satisfied and wanting little. In this state of mind your life is based on what can give you love, peace and harmony.
People who always fail, get bad advice from others, then they follow the advice, it fails, then they go back to the same people expecting good advice, even though the people always fail them.
Being Born Again is like, being brought back from the dead, to become alive again.
