This used to be a very popular shopping centre with a New World Supermarket, Liquor Store, Dairy, Barber Shop, Fish and Chip Takeaways and so on. The local teenagers on the weekend would gather in the large carpark and skateboard, have fun and just fool around there. The Fish and Chips shop is still there.

Nowadays the Elim Church has the building that New World was in.
