Use People’s Track-Record to Give You an Idea Of Their Help

Life Is Not Always Well Guided Just because You Trust Someone.

I have met people who have had troubles for years, and after some conversation I discover that the young woman’s mother, aunt or close friend has been giving her advice for years, or a male friend, and always the relationships she gets in to or the things she does that they tell her are fine turn out bad.

Somewhere along the way of life (we probably don’t want to hurt people we trust by going against their advice) we follow advice of people who we love, like, respect, but are probably not the best person to advice us, but we always follow their suggestions, advice and guidance, and even if it always ends up not that great, the next time we do it again.

What I am saying is that the person has a proven track record of failing a person, yet that is ignored for the loyalty, the desire to please, not wanting to disappoint or hurt someone’s feelings, and instead of doing what makes us happy we go with what makes someone who we are loyal to or loves advice.

I knew a young woman who lived in a home, and they were loose thinking in that home, acted like they really cared but I had my doubts about that.

Then I saw her hanging out with some young and obviously to me) reckless guys who I realised that some had no values or respect for women and that being with them, out at night, walking with them she was going to probably get raped or hurt.

I let the people of the house know what I thought and was ignored, and then own day I discovered that she didn’t go out with her friends and they were “used” by these males. This particular female, if she had been with them, she too would have been in that bad situation.

Recently I saw her again with a guy who was a bad reckless sort who she should not be trusting but obviously does. If I were to let them know my opinion they would just ignore me again. Some people are doomed to suffer hard times and bad relationships because of their lack of faith in themselves, and lack of faith in God, and sadly faith in people who always lead them wrong.

What I am getting at is that she still trusts the people who failed her again and again with her life, love life, and advice, even though she is always failed by them.

Parenting is about teaching our young to think for themselves, not to depend on us for the rest of their lives, but instead to be able to cope, use their own courage, thinking, and minds, and figure life out themselves.

We should be looking at people’s track record and regardless of how we think of them or their attempts to lead, guide us and show us the way, we should be logical and mature enough to note that with these people it ever works, and that advice always fails in the end, so we either learn to trust ourselves, even turn to God, and learn to live our own lives our own way.

We will make mistakes, but each mistake makes us more courageous, and gives us knowledge about what not to try, who not to trust, and how to think up something new, and maybe even take the path we have never taken before.

We should not make Imaginary Versions of people, in the sense that we think that they are good for us when they have shown us again and again that they fail instead of being helpful.

Use people’s track record to get some guidance on their effect on your life, and also do the same for groups of people attempting to help you and organisations. If the end result has always failed you its me to look elsewhere or to do something else.
