Thinking about God, who God is, God is Spiritual.
Eeven religions put limits on God that are huge.
It’s like they are getting into a race car and it’s a really cool fast, easily maneuvered, extremely good race car, but the church is an amateur and doesn’t know how to use race car and all its features, so you don’t.
It reminds me of people with stereos and computers when they asked me to help them fix something, and I note to not using all the features of the equipment, and I would tell them and they would not be interested.
A century or two of disconnection with God has created a lot of myths, people using God to make money, people using God to create wars, people merely guessing, and a lot of confusion has caused people to not know who God is, what God is capable of, and hellfire God will go to helping you, same as God had to do with Jesus.
You get many of the people in the Bible are really old like Job in his 80s, and then somehow Job starts again with a new young woman, the modern religious try to explain these things but without God doing anything amazing, they will tell you this reason or that reason why God allowed this or that but nothing really about what God can do for you change your life, make a complete switch of your life, a good example of that is the kingdom on earth, Jesus said the kingdom is here, but churches today say the kingdom is coming, Jesus said it’s here therefore it is here, it didn’t disappear, it’s here, but the church won’t look any more.
If the churches claim to be the voice of God today, and they stopped looking, what chance do they have of showing you the way?
The religious made up their minds and set-stock on what these come to believe as the truth. They refuse to believe any other than their doctrines.
The minds are a set and concrete, the trouble is, is that if they believe something that’s limited, or that limits what God can do, they are not willing to believe in anything new that comes to them. Like that mentally they are useless to God and they are useless to people.
My belief always was that God connected a man and a woman together and that was that.
The male and the female, without doubt knew who was meant for them and all barriers and walls and borders came down and they married regardless of what family and society thought of the union.
The church, all religions today, believe in the system created by atheism, it’s on the fence, meaning it’s God and atheism, the marriages and spiritual it’s sealed on a document, to God the marriage is sealed when they marry and mate for the first time.
If we follow God we are following God’s direction guidance help and if God leads us to a type of employment, a country, a person for help, a marriage-a spiritual marriage, then the faithful will go as God guides them, the way God leads them.
If the modern people are insecure in life, struggle to cope in life, lack confidence, lack self belief, then they lack all these things with God, thus they can go to church and learn about God, and learn about faith in God standing by God, being with God, and guided by God, but because of the issues that they have they struggle to understand God or actually believe in God especially because they don’t believe in themselves.
If a person doesn’t believe their senses, the gut feeling, his or her intuition and so on, then they are not gonna believe it when did they get it from God.
This means they will doubtthemselves, and if they doubt themselves then they will doubt God, they would doubt their own feelings and they will think a gut feeling is the tummy ache and when God shows them someone to love they were probably think something is wrong because God more than likely will not give them someone who is not eye candy but rather someone who can help them, heal and love that person in the best way possible.
If the church cannot perceive God as God really is then they cannot pass it on to you and you go through life praying to God, God trying to help you, but you being unaware of how you’re being helped and guided, therefore the church is hopeless because they know not what they’re doing.
To find God is God is we need to experience God by being very aware of what is happening around us. I remember recently going to a the intersection on my pushbike and been slow to cross a road and nearly had an accident with the car this was coming home with a bag full of groceries very heavy, and I growled God is said, “You could help me!” meaning God could help set it up better for me.
This is a bit rude of me and I really shouldn’t have done that but I was a bit scared of hitting something. I may not have got hurt but I may have scratched a vehicle or something, and the amazing thing is ever since I get that to the intersection it’s always been clear for me since then.
I have a funny story, my daughter thought I wasn’t going to a particular church anymore, and I didn’t tell her I really was still going to that church. And so I pray to God, can we have a joke with my daughter, this daughter was very proud, and she was very proud she was going to church and I wasn’t, this was probably the 2008.
So she left home and walked to church and when she left I got dressed quickly jumped on my pushbike and wrote to church to get there before she did, and then when I got there I stood there at the door to greet her.
She saw me she said and she thought to herself that he looks a bit like dad, but of course she knew it wasn’t me, she got closer and I waved to her and she way back and smiled, and she thought he does look like dad, and then that she got right up close to me she looked at me and said she you are dad.
And I had a laugh and I knew her pride that she was “The special one” going to church and she would never allow her to believe I was still going to church.
But what really surprised me was that God let me get away with it.
When you try something, and you are in God’s care, and you do something naughty or vain, don’t be surprised when it falls flat in your face and you look the fool, and this hurts your pride – this is you getting a lesson for not listening to God who is trying to stop you making a fool of yourself. Please don’t follow your pride and ego, follow God, it works out better in the long run.
There are other times I have asked God to help me do something to trick someone and as long as it is innocent I get help, to me this means that God has a sense humour.
Being aware that God is everywhere and with you and angels are with you, and that you are being guided, helps you to understand that what you see, is God guiding you and helping you, especially in dangerous situations.
There is one particular thing over the last 18 years when I did something wrong and wouldn’t do what God wanted bad things will happen to me but now they don’t, and now I know that it’s over God doesn’t want me to do it anymore.
God has a plan, God is a hard taskmaster, it God expects you to do the right thing and when you don’t it’s a locked like Jonah and the whale, God will keep you in a place where you can get away or when you try to get away He will control the situation until you listen to what God is trying to tell you.
The Bible stories, are to give you guidance, like the Good Samaritan like, the goats and the sheep, like looking in the looking glass and not being vain, the story of Moses-God will get you to safety, Job getting a second chance, Mary getting a second chance, Jesus getting a second chance, Paul getting a second chance, God is good but sometimes we think God is being mean when God is being good to us.
What I like to tell people is that God is like a parent, and a parent chastises, spanks, talks to, guides.
People being insecure bad-tempered and immature, can take God’s guide and guiding as something bad or of the devil when in reality God is just trying to help them to get back on the right path.
We need to take the stories of the Bible as lessons in life, but the same also goes for the people we talked to. Often when I meet someone and they tell me a story I wonder did God asked them to tell me that story to help me and then I try to see if the story fits in my life, or a put the story away in my mind in case something like that comes up in the future.
Other people’s true life stories are sources of information to help us, they are wisdom from other people, experiences they have been through and they would tell you how they dealt with the experience good or bad and you can learn from when a similar experience appears in your life. It’s especially helpful, when bad things happen to people, and you can look at it and say I’m not gonna react that way or I’m going to do something different to see how that turns out because I don’t like how it turned out for that person.
The idea is to learn, grow in wisdom.
I met a pastor from the USA who was very proud and he always looked down on me. He said God always made his life wonderful, and I thought that was dubious, I told him that when I prayed for wisdom a lot of bad things happen in my life, and he looked at me like I was crazy, because he said that bad things didn’t happen to him, not real bad things. And I said to him, that the bad things are experiences that we need to deal with, so that we learn how to deal with such experiences in the future, we become wise and we have knowledge, and he laughed and thought I was foolish. But I have read many people say the exact same thing I said, that God gives us experiences to teach us knowledge and wisdom, its like education. A parent is supposed to do the same thing for their own children.
If the situation gets dangerous God gives us a way out but he doesn’t interfere with your free well, so if it goes bad it’s not God’s fault its yours, and we need to learn from that, and follow God next time not myself. If a child gets into a dangerous situation, the parent rescues the child, its supposed to be like that.
In 2004 I prayed for a wife because I was sick to my own choices, I was sick of my own mistakes, and I realised I had no idea what to look for and the woman or what a good woman was all how to recognise one.
I have lost confidence in my own choosing many times, and sometimes I stubbornly still make foolish choices, and God corrects me, life is about learning but if we want a trusting relationship with God we have to trust God, we have to have faith in God completely, and we have to know that God will not send us into a bad situation, God will always offer a way out and God will always protects, this is the face we all need and we should have it.
