I was having a nap, because I had a really bad to dizzy spell at the computer, and it was about 6 o’clock in the morning I got up at 5 am, and so I went to have a lay down to rest, and a whole scenario popped into my head and it was about me in hospital I’d been in a coma for three weeks because I had collapsed at home (in this scenario), and a 25-year-old nurse was looking after me in the hospital and she told me what had happened after I woke up.
And she told me that I needed a shower, so she took me to the showers and undress me and while I was showering she patted my tummy and made a joke about it and I looked at her, and I said something to her about her age or about I could take her clothes off and smack her on chubby backside and she got really angry and stormed off.
But as she stormed off I got sicker, more dizzy spells, blood was coming out of my nose, and she came back, and something snapped in her mind, she looked at me with fear and care in her eyes, compassion, what you read about in books where a person reads a verse, or they read a quote, and they completely change the character, it happens all the time to people.
And she looked at me, looked at the ground, and apologised.
What has always amazed me and life is that when young people meet older people, the young people somehow, and this is completely beyond my thinking, they don’t realise that when they get older they will look exactly the same as the older person or possibly much worse, or possibly they would have had a stroke, heart attack, could be dead.
So, from that moment on she treated me with a lot of respect. And all the staff in the hospital noticed it that she changed from a selfish vain woman, and she treated people a lot better now, and the older nurse walked in one day while I was talking to this young nurse. Because the young nurse now would come into my room for the next two weeks every day, and asked me questions about life, and about her character and improving her Character.
And I was telling her that when you look at people spiritually you are looking at the real person, the body is a vehicle, the body is not the person, and this is something we need to get into a heads will we deal with other people.
The person is the spirit in the body, and so what she started doing after the shower scene was she saw me as she was spiritually supposed to see me, as a spiritual essence or a spiritual being or a spiritual companion, and she had discarded any thoughts about the vehicle my body, my physical body, and so she no longer judged me by my physical body.
As she spoke to me over the weeks, her character changed, she was becoming spiritually changed, in the sense that I was not physically changing her body or her looks, but I was helping her soul change spiritually within.
The object for me was just to help someone, but the lesson for me and who we are, was I to judged her as a foolish young woman, vain, immature, feminist and rude. And she could have judged me as older, grumpy, overweight, not with “her times”.
But as she got to know me, and I got to know her, we were both able to see that there was something about each of us that was able to communicate in a fair, honest way, that was actually teaching the both of us that deep within both of us were something special and by communicating closely like this with both of our boundaries down we were able to help, each other, while also seeing each other in a completely different light.
She was no longer a foolish girl to me and I was no longer out of reach as a human to her. A lot of young people look at older people and as “past it”, all just not intelligent on her level.
