A Knowledge of Human Weakness is Strength
Humans tend to live in a deeply delusional mental state where they assume personally, or as humans are in fact in direct control of their lives so much so that great confidence is born from this that makes people feel that it is he or she that is actually in control.
If we were to use pure common sense, we would note that every second many billions of things change on the planet in many different directions, meaning that to predict what is going to happen 3 seconds from now is impossible, yet many people really do assume that they are in control of their destiny and the next 3 seconds.
The idea is to not live in fear, but to be aware that we are in fact not that much in control at all, and around 174,194 people die on Earth a day and each one woke up that morning with most having no clue at all that they would not live to nightfall.
The facts that there is a huge amount of random natural behaviour, weather changes, random unpredictable human behaviours, accidents, and so on, that predicting the future and being so sure about what will happen that day is very foolish.
God is good and God is Love, therefore even if you don’t know God today God will help you anyway. God’s love is unconditional, and so if you hate God, or are abusive to God, God will still help you – I would imagine that this is because most of us who have found God didn’t believe in any way in God in the past.
What I am saying is that you are not in control of your life, but you do control a certain amount of your life, and you have free will, to do as you please as best as you can do.
Part of realising that God is in a constant battle for your Soul and life with Evil gives us a great head start in our being protected and helped by God. If we know God is helping us we can understand more clearly what happened, what is going on, and even recognize a danger that was right in front of us that miraculously changed from one bad situation to a near-miss and so on.
If we are aware that life is dangerous, but that God is looking out for us we can get through life feeling very thankful to God, while also noting all the times where you thought that something was about to go very wrong and it doesn’t.
But I would hazard a guess that God sometimes waits until we nearly get hurt to (instead of chastizing us) shows us that we were about to go somewhere we shouldn’t be going, or that we are with someone who we should not be with, and so on.
Humbleness is the knowing that we don’t know it all, and that we fail, and that we all make mistakes, and that we are all not in control of life or of our own lives.
In knowing our weaknesses, and true reality, we can have great faith in the knowledge that God is with us, helping us, protecting us, as long as we are not evil.
God is not offering “conditions” to force us to recognize Him by saying that He won’t help us do Evil.
God is not evil, therefore God repels evil, rejects evil and has no choice but to distance Himself from evil-doers, to do this is natural for God, and should be natural for ourselves in our own lives.
