Why were the Prophet’s hesitant to work for God.
The Prophet’s life has been hell, the Prophet struggles all through life, he has been badly treated by people he trusted the most, the people he loved the most betrayed him, so it is hard to want to defend and protect people who have shown nothing but disdain cruelty and hate for the Prophet. But he knows that it is God’s will for him to be forgiving, thus he does a lot of learning about love,. compassion, forgiveness, and doing work for God, for the better of all.
The Prophet is unwilling because he’s humble, and that means all he wants is humble life, a simple, a way to live, a wife, a family, and a simple lifestyle. The Prophet does not want riches, he does not want to be wealthy, he does not want to be famous, he does not want to be titled, he doesn’t want awards, he doesn’t want woman chasing him.
The reason why God chooses this person, is because he doesn’t want the things that can destroy him, he knows the danger of money, titles, being wealthy, by looking at the people around him who have these things, and he can see how weak they are, and how easily lead and seduce they are, and how they are unfaithful to their partners. And especially he does not want his pride to control him.
Charles Spurgeon and George Mueller, both had orphanages and both had a lot of opportunities for a lot of money, and they spent it as quickly as they got it or gave it away, mostly that put it on the orphanages and gave it to people who are in need, they had the idea that money tempted people into bad activities so they wanted to get rid of it as soon as they got it. They put God before being wealthy.
Billy Graham only wanted a humble wage, but he wrote some books, they became bestsellers and he became very wealthy, and he had to be careful of his pride, titles, and life, and marriage.
The Prophet is a man who God allows to go through a lot of torment so that he can learn what it is like to be tormented, what it is like to be treated badly, what it is like to be ostracized, and what it is like to feel pain and not be treated kindly, what it is like to be suffering and what life is like when he desperately needs help and no one helps, what it is like to live without Love, what it is like to live without friends, what it is like to be treated like a criminal, what it is like to be poor what it is like to be in need, to be cold, to need help and not get it.
At the end of all us the Prophet realises he has been loaded with a lot of good information, and sympathy for those who suffer, he now has empathy, real empathy, people can come to him and say I suffered in this way, I suffered in that way and the Prophet can say in truth and reality “I know what it feels like”, and even if he doesn’t go to prison he is treated like he was in prison because people lied about him, and people treated him like he was unworthy of being in society much the same as what people would treat someone had been a criminal.
He doesn’t hate people as people, but he does dislike deeply people who are cruel and people who are un-fair to innocent people, and he dislikes people who hurt children, and he dislikes people who are cruel to woman or cruel to the elderly, but in the same vein he also notes what’s wrong with the elderly and what’s wrong with woman, and in knowing that he can see what they need help with as well.
Because of his suffering, the many years he’s cried, the amount of pain he’s experienced, this deep sadness he’s been through, he has come to understand God’s mission which is to take broken people that society hurt and fix them if they want to be fixed, so as efforts are to make good what society is made bad.
The message is love, and the message is of love, God’s Love, and humans treating each other with love and respect, and changing lives around.
He understands and his heart and soul feels deeply about people, what has happened to people, how they’ve been treated, and what has been done to them that it is unfair, he understands the situation of the law, but he also sees how the law can be used for injustice, he understands how people need helping but they don’t know they need helping and part of this job for God is to wake people up to make them aware of they’ve made a mistake or they are making mistakes that is going to hurt them and their children in the future.
He is trying to save them from the suffering to come if they choose not to listen to him and God.
He is still reluctant even after he knows all us and has learnt all this, and he deeply fears fame and he deeply fears his own pride growing with fame, he worries about his pride all the time, and he worries that his pride will get the better of them one day.
What kind of man do you think God would use to help the world, one who was strong enough to go through the bad times that would teach him how everyone in the world would suffer or has suffered and how to deal with it, and how to feel the pain of suffering, the physical pain, the emotional pain the pain of love lost, the pain of deep sadness, the pain of death and so on?
This man would need to be a good clean vessel and humble, he would need to be a man that God could trust, he would need to be a man who each treat woman with respect including bad woman of ill repute, he would be able to deal with bad people in a way that would effectively wake them up so that they too could be healed and learn to love and change their ways.
He would also understand your problems, what you’ve been through, what you need, how to heal you, how to treat you with respect even if you don’t deserve it, but to treat you that way so that you will get a feeling for what love is and a feeling for what compassion is and a feeling of what it would be like if you were a respectful person, think of the woman brought to Jesus in adultery what he was caught in adultery, she was shocked at the way Jesus treated her, even she felt she should be punished badly, but Jesus showed her compassion now she may not have really deserved that compassion or respect but he gave it to her anyway, so that she could see how gentle he was, so that she could see what a nice person he was and what a wonderful God she has if she wants God in your life.
The humble man, is a humble soul, is an nice person, who wants to help you change into the person you should have been when you were born, his lot his suffering, his sad life, his lessons, learning, have become wisdom, and he knows how to treat people who have wronged him, because he knows he must treat them well for two main reasons, one is because because God demands it and God wants us to see everyone healed so God wants them all to get a chance and if the Prophet doesn’t give them a chance God will be furious with the Prophet, also he must treat them well because he knows if he doesn’t treat them well and with respect they will turn the other way and this is why the woman caught in adultery learned a beautiful loving new lesson, like the woman at the well, like all the other woman and that materialistic time that met Jesus, they all learned that they can change become new, get respect, be loved, be a new soul, have a new loving wholesome life.
And it all started with someone treating them nicely, giving them the love and respect that they needed, listening to them, helping them heal, if they want this person there for them and this person was there for them and wanted no money for it or anything back, God’s work is very, and you just serve it, it is a gift from God that would change you forever and we’ll give you a good seat in heaven.
The life of the Prophet is very hard up to the point he receives his wife, and from then on its journey with God of helping people, changing the world, changing their lives, doing God’s work, and bring in the people practical, amen.
