If you have an accuser and you know that you are innocent but the accuser won’t face you, face to face, then it is clear that the accuser is not being honest, because they have nothing to lose except to prove their truth. We all go through this experience of being falsely accused at sometime in our life I guess.
Someone tells stories about someone and people believe it without asking the accused what their side of the story is, and the accusers will only attack from safety, from a distance, hiding in the shadows – to anyone who has to listen to these false accusers it is obvious that they are being false because they won’t come face to face to who they talk about.
If the accusers have nothing to worry about because they are telling the truth then they will have no fear of seeing you face to face with witnesses.
What I am saying is that when you hear stories, even if the story may seem convincing, before being convinced it is wise to hear all the information to get the whole story.
You could make a decision that could totally change your life for the worse simply because you listened to people who were deliberately trying to lead you astray. The false accusers are like snakes whispering in your ear, but never having the courage to face the person that they are always talking badly about.
As with all things, do your own investigations if you are ever suspicious of what you have been told, and really one shouldn’t listen to gossip or stories from people who won’t say it in front of the person that they are talking about.
Another thing is to follow your instincts. Pray about issues and follow God’s lead. Remember in all things put God before everyone and everything, and follow that advice first.
