Imagine what it is that you would like to be known for.

Would it be because you used your mind and did something wonderful and helped lots of people?

Would it be that you would like to be known for looking pretty or being “a hunk” or being on the TV for a while etc?

Many people are famous for some amazing things, some very very silly like person’s hair or looks, or once had a tragedy and then they focus their life on that, or we know someone famous so for some reason we think that makes us famous or other people do.
What is really important for us deep down inside is that we are worthy. Worthy in our own eyes and worthy in other peoples. We all want to be useful and a pretty face and cute dress may work for a few years but vanity dies with the years and sadness and a wish that we had been someone more worthy lives within us as regrets.

Being truly useful is important. The other thing that we want so very much is to feel respected. We want our family to respect us, sometimes that happens and sometimes it doesn’t. A toxic family who is low on morals and such will only like people like them so if you become a better person they will have trouble accepting who you are.
People who survive on pretty looks don’t get true respect. They can play pretend with their mind for a few years but eventually they will have to face the truth that looks just don’t work for the long term. People who rely on some past fame won’t get long-term respect either.

Having a fast car is not something that makes us a better person, its simply means that you bought a fast car, and anyone can do that if they have the cash or are willing to into debt for it – a fast car does not improve our confidence at all, its false-surface-confidence.
Respect comes with constant goodness and being useful and worthy and someone that people can trust without fears. We have many reasons to respect people.
For me I rely on God. I have no idea what tomorrow will bring. I know that it will be alright to some degree and that I may have to learn something or deal with some situation in my life, but that is life. I have grown to accept that waves do rock the boat every now and then.

As far as what God will do with me, I don’t know. But it feels good to have God there and to have that confidence like that which is in Psalm 23.
If we continue on a path of trying with all our heart and soul to do the right thing then life will be more promising. And if we are willing to sacrifice to some degree, and help people with genuine care then our world will be a better place. Another thing is that our kindness and goodness will become known and we will always be remembered for that. People who know us can come to us and trust us because of our good reputation among all people.

There are those who always try to destroy peoples reputations. They need help and they are struggling with their own personal issues. Leave them to themselves and help them when they come to you for help.
The easiest way to be you is to remove yourself from the crowd, from the past attitudes, and form new loving caring feelings to start life all over again with good ideals and a love for your fellow mankind, animals and the world.

In the end all that good behavior and good thinking, and good living, and the end result is a blessed life with respect, and a good feeling of being useful and loved. Spiritual contentment is far more satisfying than any form of physical enjoyment.
Physical enjoyment lasts for the moment and it must be chased and chased, its enjoyment fades with constant use. But spiritual contentment gives a feeling of confidence in ourself and people know that they can trust us.

All the best from
