People’s impressions of us and how they are formed.

I was thinking about people impressions of us and how they are formed.
A very bad mistake some people make is that they form an opinion from what other people tell them without actually finding out themselves.

Another problem is that they see a person like themself and what good or bad that they are personally capable of when they had the thought. An example is if you are not a good person and you have all these arrogant confused judgmental opinions of the world and other people, so if anyone so much as hints that someone is bad (like you are) then you will believe it. Kind of like if you do something bad you will expect other bad people to do it and you will even expect good people to do it.
People tend to see people as they are and then judge them accordingly.

What these types of people don’t understand is that good people have morals and strong beliefs that hold them away from doing evil things.
Most of us have our limits. That line that we won’t cross over to do bad or immoral things. When we change our ways to better ways that line moves and we remove all those old bad habits until the line sits between good and bad as Christ sees it. That is how we are supposed to be, as God see that we should be.

It is not until they change and lose their old thinking and then they are judged by other people that they realise what a grave mistake that they have been making all those past years when they were arrogant and judgmental and condemned people who were good.
Sometimes it really does take a long time for us to get a grip on what we once were, how we once behaved, and the way that we formed opinions and how we hurt people by treating them bad (as if we were better) and even making accusations and such.
The past is a wonderful lesson even if it hurts. Much can be gained from those old thoughts and feelings that we don’t have now.

But now that we know better we can use that information to accept the crazy behaviors of other people to the extent that we can forgive people for who we once were, and at the same time we can make good with all those people we once hurt or misjudged in the past.
The answer is communication and investigation to avoid hurting people and judging people wrong.

All the best from
