Jeremiah Chapter 29, verse 11:
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
God has a plan for us.
God is good and by being good God must judge evil and chastise us when we go astray. Always be aware that God cannot support you while you are doing evil. That is not God’s way. God will forgive you and try to teach you not to do evil. An understanding of what is evil is a good study for any follower of God. God must judge evil because He loves us.
When things are going wrong in our life we may think that God is not with us but He is. We may feel that life is unfair but we are only feeling put out and hard done by, with sympathy for our own self we can judge our own situation up wrong and also judge God and tell God how to do things. If we follow our own thoughts and judgments then we will go astray and it will hurt in many ways.
God had a plan for Israel, they got away from God. God has a plan for you, stay with God. We too if not careful can be in captivity like Israel was. We should all want to be in God’s plan because that is where safety and security is. We have a future with God. We have slavery and punishment if we follow Satan’s plan for us.
Some people can read the Bible, talk of God’s ways, and yet not be a believer in action. This is being in captivity in a sense as well. Captured in their own beliefs and believing that they are in God’s ways but refuse to step up and keep learning. Walk the walk, not just talk the talk. We may fail but we must keep on.
Walking in God’s ways is walking in the light. A life that has purpose can only be in God’s plan for us. This world is empty and void of true meaning if we live without God in our lives. God’s plan is always good for you and I, but we must live in the plan, not live with one foot in the plan and the other outside in Satan’s plan. Eventually it will catch up with us and we will realize it when it is too late.
Genesis Chapter 50, verse 19-21: And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.
Self pity does not help us in the trials of life. We must be strong. We must submit to God’s will even if we don’t understand it, even if we may feel some fears. Submitting is listening and then being led the right way, down the right path.
Psalm 32, verse 8: I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
God has a plan for each and every one of us, submit and know His plan for your life. God’s plan for your life is personal, that walk is only between God and you. God’s plan is real, it is detailed and strong in the Word and His ways. Expect to change, expect all things in your life to become new, expect blessings because they will be a result of the good work of the dedicated.
Psalm Chapter 143. verse 7-10:
Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
God will show us the way to walk. God is good all the time. Be not guided by your confusions, nor the confusions of the lost, that will simply mean that you are lost with them. You will be thinking that you follow God while you go round and round in circles following the lost. There are no blessings, fruit or value in following the spiritually blind.
Isaiah Chapter 58, verse 11:
And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
God’s plan for us is continuous, and blessings show for those who follow God’s plan.
Jonah was given a plan, God told Jonah what to do and Jonah ran from God and His plan. And all Jonah got for his efforts was punishments and then finally he came back to God and did God’s will. How many times do we see people do this. Jonah wouldn’t listen, are we listening to God now?
We can hold on to Pet Sins and that will keep us distanced from God. Sins that we don’t want to let go of. Sins that we enjoy and even though we know that we shouldn’t we still hang on to them. We must let go and keep improving forward in life and self improvement.
We can hang on to the things of the world. The pull of the fast life and the excitements that we once new. They can be a rope around our soul anchoring us in the old ways, pulling us back slowly to defeat.
We can look in the wrong places.
And we may be afraid to genuinely submit our life to God and trust God with all our heart and soul. Without repentance, and full submission God cannot fully help us. Don’t go half the way, go all the way you will never regret it.
