God will go to great lengths in everyone’s life to try to bring them to believe in Him.
He will lead people to us. He will lead us to places that can help us or to people that can help us solve our problems. There are many things that God will do so that we can learn of Salvation and Truth. God wants us to have better lives because that removes the amount of evil in the world and helps people live better lives. God does not like to see people suffer.
There are many who come to Christ willingly. They put aside their pride and arrogance. They get on their bruised knees humbly and they pray. They repent of their old sins, their old ways, they want freedom and God’s amazing Grace and mercy. They realise that they need God in their life.
Eventually God will turn His attention to others if we choose to ignore His guidance, God will never forget you but there are others who need God’s help and have willingly gone to God, they need immediate attention. So if we don’t want to listen to God now and prefer to follow our self (paths not of God) then God will leave us to our life (Because we have free choice) until (hopefully) at some time in the future we will come to God. When we willingly turn from God we are left to our own devices following “luck” and “coincidences” and following the rules of society and being lost and guided by evil.
What I am trying to say here is that if you believe in God but are not willing to give yourself to Christ then you really do not want to give your life to the new life, the narrow path of decency and goodness. Its self defeating to claim to believe in God to yourself but not make it public and to not follow God’s life for you. Living in fear of what other people think, or in fear of what other people will do, is not having faith in God.
Fear is of evil – and the greatest fear is fear itself. Fear of what other people think is not worth the effort. Don’t disappoint yourself or God, make a stand and let the truth out and be free and show the world that you are a good decent person who wants to be good and decent and is not afraid to say that the past was your Lost Days and now here today is the Beginning Of The Rest Of Your Life! Now thats Awesome!
Standing up for yourself and living what you want to believe is a wonderful feeling, and there is much freedom is being who we want to be and feeling safe and secure in the loving arms of Christ. There is no better way to live. To be without God would make me feel very sad, very lonely, and very much alone and by myself, even amongst many people. Being with God and showing God your trust and faith will bring us great confidence and growth.
Faith and security are with God. Without God there is nowhere to put ones hope. God can do anything. Without God hope is a lonely feeling, with God we can have hope in everything and anything good and worthy.
