We cannot all expect to have the intelligence of Mr Einstein and for some of us we don’t need it. But we should have the mental ability to notice that we are judging or making the same mistake over and over again and still achieving the same results is insane.

Often we are taught what to think, what to believe in, and what to accept. What we need to be taught is that we are intelligent and that we have many senses that are capable of helping us get through life. We also have the ability to look with a non-judgmental view at life and see what is really happening around us – instead of blindly accepting that what we see is something else, or blindly accepting what the leaders of society are telling us to believe.

 

A school teacher could pass all her exams in the educational system and still have great trouble understanding spiritual matters. All her teaching is down on paper and of the material world. So when God tries to step into her life and save her from a miserable future, which will also save her family, she will not see because her pride is based on the material physical world, and educations school bookwork, exams and teaching. Even if people around her try to explain religion to her she may defiantly deny anything that she sees is a result of God’s work in her life. Pride is a killer and very powerful – because Satan is behind it.

 

To achieve a change in our life, or to accomplish something then we need to do something that will cause that change. But if we have tried many different ways to change the situation and to get different results, and none of them have worked, then the next wise thing to do is to look at it from the angle that we have (and possibly deliberately tried to avoid) not tried yet, or even believed existed.

 

We are spiritual beings traveling through life with a spiritual body. Sometimes I tell it like this. Have you seen a baby incubator! It has holes in the side and the parents, nurses and doctors can put their hands in the gloves to touch the baby. If you think of your hands as the spiritual part of you (your soul) and the glove as the physical body, that exists in a physical world (in the incubator). The glove (your physical body) can only exist in the physical world.

 

We are spiritual beings and we can become so involved in our physical life, and listen to so much about the material world and its so called treasures and so-called experts that we miss the whole point of life, love and living.

We have a Living Spiritual God who is truly all knowing, all seeing and very active in this world today. But God is greatly limited in His work in our life if we don’t accept His guidance. Look at it this way, what good is the teacher in the class if all the students are laughing and joking and ignoring the teacher! The teacher will do the best that they can but if the students still refuse to be taught they will fail all their exams. Reminds me of us failing the whole point of life and Salvation. Without God our life becomes a failure, we may succeed in the material world but what good is the world if we lose our soul?

 

Instead of using negative feelings like anger, fears and worries, which will only guide us from the truth and frustrate us more and more, we can be calm and use common sense while also considering the more spiritual side of life. Jesus has often been refereed to as man that was more spiritual than material.

 

People need to get back to their roots, back to reality, back to the basics and who we really are, and what is really important and real.
