Sometimes I see people that don’t follow God.
I know that they are living a sinful life and that they need for their own sakes to come to God and find peaceful lives, repair, forgiveness and Salvation.
I see these people and I wonder why it takes them so long to find God. I think to myself, “What is their problem? It is obvious that God is leading them and showing them the way.”
The so-called coincidences are many, strange, and often amazing, but these people still refuse to take the hint – instead they will probably come up with explanations and wild imaginings.
And it is easy for me to think that they are a bit “Simple” because stubbornly they fight and refuse to “see God in their lives” they want to believe in luck and fate and evil people before they will believe in God.
The keywords, “Luck” “Coincidences” “Chance” etc were developed like “Murpheys laws” to explain why amazing wonderful blessings come their way while also driving them from God. God blesses them and they bite the hand that feeds them daily blessings.
The evidence of God’s existence is very obvious to the open mind and those that are willing to change their belief system. Yet the stubborn prideful non-believer still struggle to see what is right under their noses, and while they deny God, their lives become more and more miserable – that is the price for following evil.
I couldn’t figure out why I found God overnight and yet God bothers people for their entire lives but they refuse to admit that God exists. It took me one night when something very bad happened to me to believe in God. The events got worse and worse and my family and I prayed and miraculously things got better. That was back in 2003-2004, before I went to church and before I ever owned a Bible.
One of the reasons I “got it” is because I was willing to believe in God from the beginning. I had a child’s faith, a strong faith and a determined faith.
A reason that the stubborn non-believer refuses to believe in God is because they feel like they are being forced or are being pushed, and prideful people hate feeling pushed. The more that you push them the more that they will stubbornly push back. Feminists will viciously fight back. Rich prideful corporate types will fight back. People with big egos only believe in themselves so they believe that they don’t need God – until something goes wrong or they come near to death, then panic set in and they become humble.
A person can be led to water but they don’t have to drink. Everyday all around the world God is trying to lead people to Him and many are simply refusing God or His help in their lives.
Bad attitude religious people don’t help, and the many false doctrines and big fancy prideful churches don’t help the situation. Religious groups causing violence are other bad advertising for God. All these things and much more add up to the reason’s why people won’t accept God.
Another reason is that they have fears. If they have done much wrong and hurt innocents or other things that they know is directly against the laws of the land and against the laws of God they will reject God from fear. They refuse to believe in forgiveness or real love.
But besides their reasons and refusals to accept God into their lives God will still pester them over and over again. God does not want to see them harmed now or for eternity. God wants them to know love, freedom and a better life.
Some may even pray at sometime and God will try to make their dreams come true but they refuse to follow God after a while and wonder why their dreams turn to dust and their lives become tears of regrets and sadness.
What I am getting at is that I believe in God with all my heart and soul because I believed God from the beginning. I was willing to have God in my life showing me the way and showing other people to me because I can help them (Because I let God guide me – submission).
Now I finally understand why those other people refuse. I didn’t find God because I was better – it was simply because I gave myself to God with all my heart and soul.
I wanted my soul, my mind, my opinions, my beliefs and my whole life to become new and I wanted to believe in God’s protection with all my heart and soul and believe in it when I am in the streets and I do. God has saved me from so many amazing situations that my faith has continually grown.
I can tell you that will all my heart and soul I know that God is there.
I hope that you do too.
All the best from
James M Sandbrook.
