Make you a blessing as you were born to be.
Think of you as someone that God put here to help people, animals and care for nature in such a way as you would imagine that God would do.
Remember when you were a child and the world was new and full of such wonder?
You were so excited about all the things you felt, saw, smelled, touched. The world inspired your imagination and brought you great happiness.
Your mind was innocent. You were a child. And to you back then the world was a wonder. Something to be excited about and you were often amazed at what it was that you found in your own back yard.
You knew (you didn’t have to be taught) that there was a natural process of things. You knew that you would find that special one that you would fall in love with and that you would be a part of that miracle called marriage.
You didn’t need to know about God to know this. You simply accepted this path as natural and a blessing.
Like the human being the animal has a natural path and it doesn’t have to be told about it. The natural way of the animal (human or otherwise) is written into our soul at conception and there is nothing more natural for us to do than follow that path and thank God for it.
Our society has become so twisted and so driven to cater for the wants of the “Self” that even what is natural for us is no longer accepted by the modern souls.
We think that marriage is a choice, or that children are a choice, or that accepting God is a choice. The reality is that these things are what we need to bring us happiness.
We need God to give us Salvation, to protect us from evil and help us along the way. We need a partner chosen by God in marriage so that two can become one, that is our true calling. Our children are an extension of that love and the ones who will carry on our
legacy and to continue to hand down this knowledge and wisdom to their children. We are to live in a cycle-of-love created by God for our own satisfaction and contentment.
We can search our entire lives looking for something to satisfy that empty space inside of us. We can have many sexual partners, but find that this doesn’t satisfy – eventually we realise it brings (makes one look aged), disease and shame. We can abuse substances, alcohol etc but that doesn’t satisfy, and eventually our health suffers and shame follows. The fast lane, extreme sports, money, fame, all seem to satisfy for a season and then we are back where we started, not satisfying the soul.
God is natural, and having God in that empty space inside of us is natural. Being in nature is our natural environment. Family, love, the simple un-complicated life is natural. Peace is in the heart of the contented person.
One sleeps easy when they have apologized, forgiven, and done what they could when they should have. We love our own self innocently when we are responsible and don’t avoid what we know we should do.
When we have values, and we have morals and live a decent life, we can really love ourself in an innocent love. When we love ourself in an innocent gentle way we also have respect for ourself. Others will respect us to. Especially when they see that we stand strong for what is good and worthy.
All the shame of the past is washed away in a wave of God’s forgiveness and when we forgive ourselves – this comes from knowing that we were not to blame for our fallen past and that now we are wise enough to see this.
Society took many of us as children and shredded our souls leaving us sad, lost, confused, bathed in shameful regrets, pain and tears. Society is today following the whim of the people and chases money which feeds and drives our modern society.
The wise person knows that to find peace we must repent and turn around and follow a new path that takes us directly away from the past – and that is to follow Jesus. Jesus is the opposite to the way that modern society today operates.
The dream of a good life that we had as children can still be ours but we must be willing to repent, turn over a new leaf and follow God. We must be willing to stand up and take responsibility for the wrongs that we have done because this takes away our guilt and
internal emotional heart-felt pains. Freedom comes when we apologise and give our hearts freely. Freedom comes when we forgive.
We must responsibility for our own life by following God and doing the things that we always new that we should have done to make things right with other people, and that will bring our heart and soul peace and contentment.
All the best from
James M Sandbrook.
