Nothing is as strong as gentleness.

Sometimes while cycling I come to a very strong head wind – and I forget and drive my way into it hoping to beat it and get to my destination faster and stronger.
But soon I realize that all I get from all that hard effort is sore legs and physically tired. The lesson I learned is to slow down and gently go through the heavy wind and come out of it in the end fit and able to continue the journey. The gentle approach really works!
Galatians Chapter 5, verse 22:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
If you would reap praise, sow the seeds; gentle words and useful deeds – Benjamin Franklin.
Matthew Chapter 18, verse 3:
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew Chapter 11, verse 28-30:
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Only the truly strong and great can be truly tender. Tenderness is a mark of nobility, not of weakness – James Philip.

And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
Nothing is as strong as gentleness, nothing so gentle as real strength – St Francis de Sales.
