Your enemy does not need to attack you when you have justified your sins and willingly sin for your own pleasure. If you like it your enemy needs not push you along, you do that yourself and lead a sinful life and by actions teach those in your care to follow you in this sinful life.

But when you take up a book like this and want to change away from the sinful life your enemy will take on the attack. His or her main advantage is that your enemy is unseen. It is a spiritual war that we fight, and the spiritual problems addict us in every way that they can to a worldly thing, such as food, sexual activity, drugs, alcohol etc.

Slowly and carefully mankind’s age-old enemies will go to great extents to fight your resolve to change, temptation will be on your doorstep at every turn and mostly when you least expect it. The fight may be a long one, but one that you can win. You may be trying to stay celibate (celibacy – in this sense abstaining from sexual activity especially from your own personal pleasure) and you will find an amazing set of “coincidences” will happen that will surprise you if you are looking for them or will think about them after you have lost the fight. If the fight is lost then it must be taken up again and onward you shall march toward success. You enemy is sneeky and will go to many extents to guide you in the wrong direction.

You may watch a movie with some sexual content, then you may find a book with some of the same, then meet someo0ne of the opposite gender who comes on strong with you to tease you, and many other temptations. Once you have beaten one, another will take its place. But over time you will beat them all, it takes time, belief, efforts, understanding of human nature, understanding of evil, love for yourself, understanding of other people, and persistence.

You have to look for the signs.
