From the Book of Proverbs, the wise saying of King Solomon to his son:

Proverbs Chapter 28, verse 25-26: He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat. He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

That proud heart of people who don’t follow God will stir up strife in your life, but those that trust in the Lord God will be given abundance. Trusting ones heart above the ways of God and God is a fool, but they that walk wisely shall be delivered. The heart is a wonderful thing when filled with God’s love and goodness – but a lost thing when filled with the craving and ways of society. The ways of man are the ways of death.

We must trust in God before all things, and all people. If w put our trust in people we will be lost and led astray and we will come to know this as the ways of the world are not the ways of God, but of God;’s enemy. And honestly, if you put your life in God’s enemies hands, what’s the best you could expect! Only living hell, and more and more of this if you keep denying God. The heart of the worldly friends is confused and lost an cannot show you the way because they are limited by a tiny view but God’s view is big and can guide you anywhere safely.

Psalm 19, verse 1: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
All that is good is of God. Logic states that if we want goodness then we should not be denying God but happily and willfully bring God into our lives, and live in God’s good ways.

Psalm 18, verse 1-6: …the servant of the LORD, who spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul:
And he said, I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and
my high tower.
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

The ways of God and God’s Word will not pass away, they are here forever and the wise will heed them and engrave them on their heart so that their hearts will be guided by God and not the lost of society.

When people give their hearts and souls to society they collect treasures on earth and experiences that are of the old ways and considered something to treasure – experiences of the old ways are considered worldly treasures. Treasures on earth are nothing, they are nothing to have and nothing to want. The ways of God are of (Galatians Chapter 5, verse 22: But ) the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Luke Chapter 12, verse 16-34: And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. (instead of giving to the needy he was hoarding all his riches and such for himself. The farmer trusted himself, and he trusted his money and didn’t trust God’s ways)

But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?

Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

God’s ways are about goodness, forgiveness, mercy and the heart and the soul.

Proverbs Chapter 3, verse 3-7: Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Proverbs Chapter 9, verses 10-18: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased. If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it. A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing. For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
Pro 9:15 To call passengers who go right on their ways: Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.

Proverbs Chapter 22, verse 3: A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

Proverbs Chapter 28, verses 26-28: He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse. When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.

To walk wisely is to walk with God and be a doer of God’s word. Not just pray, but do what God guides you to do and who to be with. To pick up just any fancy with people of the past is to have a foolish heart which will in time burn thy soul.

Wisdom is to be wise and walk in the ways of the wise and live as a wise person and walk in the ways that you think and preach. The wise person shares what he or she knows of Christ to save more souls. If we have friends, this is the best thing that we can do for them. To be wise is to repent.

We change with our regret for who we used to be and we want to willingly have new friends and a new life. This is how the wise live. The unwise chance their life to luck, and the luck of the draw is their guidance. Imagine trusting your life to the luck of Lotto, how many times have you lost lotto and how many times have you won lotto – get the idea?

Proverbs Chapter 15, verse 24: The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath. Proverbs Chapter 3, verse 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Be saved and walk in God’s ways, always.
Psalms 119, verses 105- 106: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

Follow the word of God daily. God keeps us straight in the narrow path of life, and keeps us from the wide path of death. walk in prayer and be a doer of the ways of God. God is able, and God is with us everyday, always when we follow Him. You may say well he can back me up always – imagine you being with the wrong people and doing wrong, you see God is good and God cannot back up evil ways, to do that would be to support, now we cannot expect God to do that, now can we?

Proverbs Chapter 12, verse 15-18: The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. A fool’s wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame. He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit. There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

Walk with the Holy Spirit by listening and being a doer of the word and turning away from lost friends guidance and doings for they will lead you to shame and pain. Its just not worth it. Leave the past where it is, behind you, and mercy is yours.

Ephesians Chapter 5, verse 18: And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Alcohol can be your downfall. Be wise and don’t walk that way or you may trip on your own two feet. The same is obvious with drugs. God gave you a perfect brain, it doesn’t need clouding over so that your judgment is clouded too.

Proverbs Chapter 13, verse 18-21: Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured. The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil. He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.

1 Thessalonians Chapter 1, verse 9: For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
Idols are of your life before you found God.

Romans Chapter 6, verse 23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Thessalonians Chapter 5, verse 9: For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

1 Corinthians Chapter 15, verse 56-58: The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law [of man]. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

James Chapter 4, verse 7-8: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
John Chapter 14, verse 1: Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Psalms 18, verse 17: He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

God sees all, knows all and is all that is good. God is Good, God is Love, God is a Spirit.
2 Corinthians Chapter 5, verse 17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
