Dealing with Fears

Dealing anxiety and irrational fears should involve a person trying to understand their past and any events that caused the fears.
For example my fear of heights is a result from an event I remember that happened when I was a child. From this I can understand that the fear was and is, not my fault. I can understand that I am very uncomfortable with heights as a result, but I will not let that stop me from high places.

If a person has a fear of a thing or person that is irrational then understanding why they have the fears, where they came from, helps a person to set that the fear is nothing to fear.
