Enemies & Friends!

No matter how other people are we should always try to make enemies into friends by being friendly. Not easy sometimes but well worth the effort.

If they refuse to be friends then at least you know that you have done your best and that you have shown your kindness, forgiveness and genuine willingness to be friends.

A persons real character shows when they have a choice of being forgiving, or apologizing, or being kind to people they call (or think of as) enemies.

If a person tells us that they are a good person, kind, generous etc then the real test is seeing them show this to an enemy. If the enemy is trying to be friends by being polite and kind then we show our real character by how we respond to this kindness.
°
The Bible shows us that anyone can love a friend or family member. But the real question is can we love the citizens of the world knowing that they too have been through many different things and hard times. We need to try to understand one another with caring love for all others.
°
We must be doers of the Word, be of peace, charity and love.
