One can get into action and overcome one fear by fearing something else.
°
An example is that one may fear losing someone so they will tackle a previous fear to get the person.
°
Another example:
If one is at a cliff edge, and the other side is about 4 feet away you won’t jump across because you are worried that you might slip and fall to the rocks far below. You become anxious when you think about the real or imagined dangers before you. So you decide to take the long safe way around.
All of a sudden you hear a deep rumbling. You look behind you and you see an avalanche of small and medium rocks coming your way. The only chance of escape is jumping across the 4 foot gap, so you take a flying leap and you make it safely.
A situation can change at a moments notice, and what once was a worry or a fear simply becomes an obstacle to freedom, or an obstacle to overcome to get what you want.
°
Sometimes we really need to just get a good grip on our thoughts, our mind and take control and do the things that we need to do to bring a satisfying change to our own life.
