If a group of rich people gained slow deliberate control of the political system running a country, then the rich people become the controllers of that country.
Even though they take unfair advantage of others they are safe because being good friends of those at the top of the legal system they have ensured with time that the legal system protects the rich and those in the political parties (Left and Right).
Local political people are just miniature versions of the nation’s political system.
I prefer for the people to support the corruption they formed the school education system as we know it today.
Children were taught to follow orders, accept that rules made from high up were fair and the best thing for the country etc.
Children are taught to completely trust the political system, that patriotism is an honour etc (even if the government you honour is ruining society). The rich formed the school system to pump out non-thinking workers, drones, who will all line up to give away the most precious hours of their life to people who will never work a day of their lives.
This was how the rich learned to control millions of people.
