Insecure People:
If a person is brought up being harshly judged, put down, or abused and such, then he or she will feel Insecure about other people.
When we have received negative comments from other people for long periods of time we feel Insecure about ourself.
Looking at TV, movies, the news etc, we can realise that the world is a mess, and those who are supposed to be far more intelligent than us obviously are not bringing back a safe, honest caring world. This can make us feel Insecure about the world.
A combination of insecurities can really cause a person to hide away from the world.
Part of the job of therapy is to help a person cope with society as it currently is. But what if society was dysfunctional, allowing laws that are against your beliefs? What if to you it was obvious that society was destroying the human race, but to those who were judging you they were not worried at all?
What if your family are demanding that “you fit in”. But to you it no longer feels good “to fit in” to a lost world.
What’s if the patient was smarter than the therapist? If the therapists was fully conformed to this world and it’s ways, then the therapists is of no use to “the thinker”, the patient.
Just because a person may be Insecure, weary, and have fears and addictions that does not mean that in other areas they are not vastly more intelligent and wiser that those who judge and condemn them.
If that were the case then you would have to force your soul to accept a corrupt society and it’s unfruitful beliefs, greedy, lusts and self destructive ways etc. And then try to teach yourself that all the wrongs that you see around you are good.
And then live in that corrupt society pretending that you are as gullible as everyone around you. But at the back of your mind you would wonder with amazement at how easily people are weakened and how easily they accept and totally believe what the authorities tell them.
A good person who cares for others and “acts out that love everyday” with charitable acts towards all people can really struggle in a toxic environment.
