Look in the mirror. See a person, you. See the simple you as you were born. Keep your image of yourself simple. Keep your accomplishments in your mind simple, don’t overate your achievements. Many have achieved much.
See yourself humbly and you won’t be easily fooled by those who try to flatter you with sweet compliments.
Know and believe your true worth, let the phony talk go by and distance yourself from those wishing to gain from you with their sweet talk and those patting you on the back to make you vain and get their way with you.
Be strong and of good courage.
