Learn to Sew

As well as being a creative and enjoyable hobby, sewing can save a person a lot of money.

Sewing by hand is helpful to sew on buttons and small tears, or sew up hems, but the bigger the sewing job the harder it can be with hand-sewing.

Machine sewing takes us on to another level. Sewing machines can be had at garage sales, auction sites and from sewing clubs etc.

The machine, once one learns how to operate it, is very easy to use and operate, and does a very fast efficient job of sewing on pockets, sewing up rips, hems, and so on, as well as add patches.

If you take your clothes to a person who sews cloths you will find that it can be costly, so you are saving money all year round using your own sewing machine.

If you have childrne you can pass on your sewing skills to them so that they too can learn the joys of being creative and mending their own clothes, as well as making clothes such as aprons, dresses and so on.

Learning the art of sewing is a good choice for people on a low budget.

There are many books dedicated to sewing to be found in Libraries, Second-Hand book stores, and Internet sites, as well as YouTube channels devoted to sewing of all kinds.

All the best from
