The thing about getting all puffed up abut ourselves is that we are raising ourselves up to levels that do not exist because no one is ever the best at anything. Sure we shine, but somewhere on the world someone can do or has done better.

The strange thing is that people can assume that they are better.
An example is movie star who once was broke, served customers for a low wage, and lived in the streets – he or she become famous overnight and their ego expands practically overnight as well. And all of a sudden they are treating people in a bad way because they assume that they are the best and better than other people.

I tend to believe that God allows us to succeed and shine at some time in our lives and when that happens we are supposed to share our success with others in a humble way. The higher we rise in life then more people we bless, help and care about. We give back to the world what the world has given to us.

When ego and pride grow people do less for others (unless they profit from good deeds) and they are the opposite to humble, thus causing more harm than good in other people’s lives.

The goal in a person’s life should always be to make the world a better place for have been here.
