For a long time now I have had church issues over rainy days. They know that I have no car, they know that I cannot arrive soaking wet, and also that I cannot afford a taxi, but no one will come and get me for the church services.

This has been going on for about two to three years now. I have had lectures and there have been sermons about not going to church regularly etc. The Pastor sometimes looks at me during such sermons like a parent shaming a naughty child.

I will probably be voted out for my skackness of not going to church on Winter days when it is raining. When I am unwell it would be foolish for me to walk or ride my bicycle on a chilly Winter’s day when I have a cold or a cold is developing, but they fail to see the logic in that, start they see is to them obvious disobedience.
The problem is that all of them have jobs, money, 2-3 cars etc, and they can only see me through their view of life.

One other issue is that of blessings. They think if a person is poor financially, has no car, cannot afford good food then he is not being blessed by God so he is getting what he deserves and that they should not interfere with God’s chastisement of this obviously undeserving Christian. They fail to see that it may not be this person’s fault that he or she is in this situation, they only see their own view from what they perceive is a God Blessed high station in life.

Remind you of anyone? Job. He was unfairly judged by everyone except God. Even the love of his life, his wife turned on Job and God.

Church members are supposed to help one another without judgment. Modern congregations are frightened of giving away material gain of real worth and money. Some are generous, but my experience is that it is not the majority by any means.

It rained today, age even after some church members said that they would come a very me if it rained nobody did. There was a special event at church, big dinner etc, and I missed the whole thing.

I have no good at home so I will walk to the shop to get something to eat and some cat food.

Always remember what Jesus said any the goats and the sheep.
